The Nats offers participants different levels of competition when it comes to having their car Judged. With the regualr judging format, each entry is judged based on a number of key areas and attention to details etc., Classes range from Original, Street, Modified, Pro-Street and Clone. The next level of competition is the Senior class, where past year winners of their individual classes can compete. The Judging is more stringent, more areas reviewed and as this class is only for Original vehicles, more accuracy on options, numbers etc., plays into the final score. The final level is the OEMTM Certification program, that basically judges a car on everything; original, correctness and appearance. This is a limited class availablity as it takes many hours to Judge these entrants and the standards to achieve Gold, Silver or Bronze are representative of the prestigious award. Other shows try to imitate this process, but there is only one Nationals GOLD certification program recognized world wide.
